Lyra Burgess will graduate with BBA and MPA degrees this spring. Considering the panache with which she’s handled the phases and changes of her life so far, she also deserves a master’s of metamorphosis. At 16, Burgess left a troubled home life to travel the country with a Renaissance festival.
Brenda Cervantes, BBA ’05, is currently an MBA student at UT San Antonio studying international business. After graduation she wants to move abroad to start her career, plans that were sparked when she studied abroad in Paris with the CIBER program at McCombs.
