Not only is George Seay busy chairing the McCombs School Advisory Council, he is chairman of the Clements Center Board of Advisors. Seay, the grandson of Governor Clements, is also the lead donor for the center’s creation.
On Tuesday, Dec. 3, the McCombs School of Business is proudly joining a call to action that will help make history. We are partners in #GivingTuesday, a nationwide 24-hour day of giving that falls in line after the shopping holidays of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Help us spread the word about this giving movement.
Each year the McCombs Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made outstanding professional contributions to the business community and who, by their exemplary civic, philanthropic, and educational activities, have advanced humanity. In 2013, four new members were inducted - John L. Adams, Tom C. Frost, Gary C. Kelly, and Lynn (Fox) Utter.
The MBA classes of 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2012 celebrated their 1-, 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, and 25-year reunions the weekend of Nov. 1-3, 2013. Thank you to all those that came out and we hope you had a great time reconnecting with old friends. Hook 'em!
The McCombs School of Business Advisory Council assists the dean, faculty, and staff of the school in becoming one of the top business schools in the nation. The executive committee considers nominations for membership each spring, and new three-year terms begin Sept. 1.
