Friends and classmates have joined to create a scholarship in honor of Allan Yiu Cheung Sih, BBA ’90, MPA ’90, former president of New York Texas Exes, who died February 7 at age 43. Sih is remembered for his passion for volunteerism and dedication to The University of Texas at Austin.
Ten freshman from across the state will be part of the inaugural class of Forty Acres Scholars this fall. Five of the scholarship recipients are McCombs School students.

Supporters generously donated $250,000 in funding to double the enrollment for Subiendo: The Academy for Rising Leaders to 100 students. This five-day summer program provides leadership development opportunities for Texas high school students at no cost.
Friends and classmates of Christopher Cornett, MPA '06, have established a scholarship in his memory. At this time, supporters have donated about $18,000 toward the $25,000 needed to fully fund the scholarship in perpetuity.
