Austin Chapter member, Shannon Strank, MBA ’11, organized a behind-the-scenes tour of the university’s J.J. Pickle Campus, which showcased some of the studies that take place at the UT research campus.
At the Corporate Recognition Lunch on April 24, the McCombs School of Business honored Southwest Airlines, Lawrence Pope of Halliburton, KPMG, and Shell for their extraordinary partnership with the school.
On Friday, March 6, 2015 the 10th Annual Alumni Business Conference was held at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin, TX. The keynote panel included Antonio Garza, U.S. Ambassador (ret.), Christi Craddick, Chair, Texas Railroad Commission, and was moderated by Evan Smith,Editor-in-Chief and CEO, The Texas Tribune. Lillian Mills, Chair, Department of Accounting, was the master of ceremonies.

Corporate and foundation partnerships are a cornerstone of the dynamic learning and teaching environment at the McCombs School of Business. On Friday, April 24, the McCombs School will honor three companies and one individual for their exemplary contributions to and participation with the school at the Corporate Recognition Lunch.
Last year, the McCombs School of Business partnered in #GivingTuesday. We were able to raise over $8,000 dollars to
support the McCombs School of Business. We will encourage alumni to join
us once agian this year to participate in #GivingTuesday and give back
on Dec. 2.
