Corporate partnerships are a cornerstone of the dynamic learning and teaching environment at the McCombs School. On Thursday, April 25, 2013, the McCombs School will recognize three corporations and one individual for their extraordinary contributions to and participation with the school at the Annual Corporate Recognition Dinner. We are pleased to announce this year's honorees.
The McCombs Scholars Initiative has raised one Forty Acres (full-ride) Scholarship, nine McCombs Presidential Scholarships and 10 McCombs Dean’s Scholarships since February 2012. Dean Tom Gilligan and McCombs Advisory Council member John L. Adams, BBA '75, attended the McCombs Scholars reception in Houston, TX to recognize those efforts.
The MBA classes of 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007 and 2011 celebrated their 1-, 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, 25- and 30-year reunions the weekend of October 19-21, 2012. Thank you to all those that came out and we hope you had a great time reconnecting with old friends. Hook 'em!
Our annual alumni barbecue took place this year on Oct. 6 just before the West Virginia game. We had a great turnout with lots of Longhorn spirit. Thank you to everyone that came out!
