Luke Kyohere, MSTC '13
Luke Kyohere, MSTC ’13 and Dan Kleinbaum, MSTC 13 were both mentioned in Forbes's "At SXSW, Beyonic Presents Its Platform For Mobile Payments in Africa" article. The article featured Beyonic, the start-up company based out of Washington D.C., Austin, and Uganda which Kyohere and Kleinbaum co-founded. Beyonic serves as a platform for electronic voucher management, which began by targeting resellers of electronic prepaid airtime vouchers in Uganda. The article spoke optimistically of Beyonic's potential growth: "The four-employee company has five customers, is expanding operations to Kenya, and also is in talks with potential customers in Mozambique, Tanzania, and other countries in East Africa, as well as in Sierra Leone and various West African nations. And eventually, the partners are betting they’ll be able to target other types of organizations." To read the full article visit the link below.
