Alyse Forcellina, MBA '96
After 15 years of working in the strategy consulting world, I became acutely aware of the lack of leadership among the top teams of even the most profitable and successful companies. I have seen so many times when the strategy is right (something I spent many years helping my clients develop, most recently at McKinsey) and the execution roadmap is flawless, but the organization lacks the courage and leadership to drive change. So recently I decided to dedicate my career to making an impact on business outcomes through people (versus strategy). I've joined Egon Zehnder International, an executive search and leadership assessment firm. In this new role, I'll have the opportunity and privelege to help companies accelerate their business impact through talent in the C-suite and on boards, and to provide candid and developmental feedback for candidates on how they can take their leadership skills to the next level. I'm going to continue to serve the life sciences industry, where I've been for my entire career, and I'm also going to help build the firm's presence in the Northeast and MidAtlantic marketplace. I'm very excited about this career change, and even more excited about seeing all of my classmates in Austin soon!
