MSTC, EMBA Hold High Ranks for 2017

Two master's degree programs at the McCombs School of Business maintained their top ranks in Eduniversal's annual Best Masters Ranking for 2017.

Master of Science in Technology Commercialization Program: No. 6

McCombs' Master of Science in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) program again hit No. 6 in the U.S. for entrepreneurship. Worldwide, the MSTC program climbed two spots to No. 18 out of 100 ranked programs.

The year-long MSTC program teaches working professionals how to identify commercially viable technologies and bring them to market through entrepreneurial ventures or established firms.

Texas Executive MBA: No. 11

McCombs' Texas Executive MBA Program (EMBA) held steady at No. 11 nationally in the working professional category.

The Texas EMBA, a 21-month program for mid-career professionals seeking progression to senior-level management, allows students from a wide array of backgrounds to tackle real-world problems in a collaborative environment without career interruption.

Other Top Specialties and Programs

Eduniversal's Best Master rankings are unique in their coverage of 30 business specialties. McCombs earned high marks for the following specialties:

Financial markets (MBA), No. 11 worldwide
Corporate finance (MBA), No. 16 in U.S.

Eduniversal, a global higher education rating agency headquartered in Paris, also publishes a ranking of the best 1,000 business schools in 154 countries. In the 2017 edition, McCombs landed at No. 19 among U.S. institutions.

The methodology for the ranking includes program reputation (according to recruiters and business school deans), starting salary, and the level of satisfaction with the program expressed by recent graduates.
