Texas MBA Offers Students ‘Best Bang for The Buck’

Text: Texas MBA No. 1 Best Bang for the Buck

The Texas MBA offers the "best bang for the buck," according to U.S. News and World Report.

Although graduates of top business schools typically earn higher salaries than students who attend lower-ranked schools, U.S. News data show graduates of better programs also leave school with greater debt levels.

But not so at the McCombs School of Business: Graduates from the full-time MBA program at McCombs had the largest gap between how much they earned in annual base salary following graduation and how much debt they owed in 2015.

"MBAs who run the numbers know the value of the Texas MBA is one more compelling reason to have McCombs at the top of their list," says Tina Mabley, assistant dean and director of the Texas MBA program.

"The fact that our ROI is the best of the top 20 programs is yet another benefit, alongside our world-renowned faculty, broad resources, close-knit community, and the dynamic city of Austin," Mabley says.

In a March survey, U.S. News ranked the Texas MBA Full-Time Program at No. 16.
