The McCombs School of Business took top ranks for some of the hardest-to-find MBA skills in three leading industry sectors, according to recent recruiter research.

In its Job Skills Report 2016, Bloomberg Business ranks McCombs in these areas:

No. 1 for strategic thinking
No. 3 for communication skills

No. 1 for communication skills
No. 3 for leadership skills

No. 2 for creative problem-solving
No. 3 for strategic thinking

Drawing on the recruiter portion of its 2015 full-time MBA ranking, Bloomberg Business was interested to know which schools were "hitting the sweet spot" by producing graduates with the skills employers identify as the most needed, but hardest to find.

Bloomberg Business queried over 1,200 recruiters at more than 500 companies across 11 industries on a variety of employment issues. These included asking recruiters to identify the five most important and the five hardest-to-find skills out of 14 listed on Bloomberg's survey. Employers rated how well each school's graduates performed these skills.
