Former McCombs Prof Named Dean at Michigan's Ross School

Alison Davis-Blake has been named dean at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, making her the school's first female dean in its 87-year history. She is currently dean at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.

Davis-Blake was senior associate dean at the McCombs School from 2003 until 2006. Prior to that she was chair of the Management Department. Davis-Blake joined the faculty of the McCombs School in 1990.
