A group of McCombs undergraduate students in the Junior Achievement program spent a day this spring teaching kids at Austin’s Barrington Elementary about UT and the McCombs School, including the different majors available, the importance of earning good grades and financial concepts such as currency, savings and creating pricing structures for a business. The goal of the curriculum is to inspire the students to plan for college and possibly a career in business.
